We believe in

Simplicity

Making an Impact

Creating Joy

Gaia is developing a new family of female-centered drug products to transform women’s health.

Meet the Team

  • Emily Stein, Founder and CEO

“I founded Gaia Health with a vision for healthcare that doesn’t pose a compromise between health outcomes and quality of life as we receive care. I believe that taking a female-centered approach to designing drug products can transform the experience of taking medicine, and in doing so create massive improvements in how we manage disease. I’m a materials scientist, a fierce optimist, and a connector.”

Emily came up with the idea for Gaia while living in Kyoto, where the culture of simplicity and attention to detail resonated strongly with her vision for healthcare.

Prior to founding Gaia, Emily studied Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford where she worked on novel medical devices and 3D printed sensors.
